Pelmets and Lampshades

This is a one day course

Meet at 9.30 to meet your fellow students for a 10 o’clock start

‘Pelmets’ I love a nice Pelmet, they will enhance and frame your Curtains or Roman Blind.

In the morning we start by talking through all the different type of pelmets, soft, solid, padded, shaped they come in all shapes and sizes and we talk through them all.

Description

Pelment Making Classes

We then go on to  make a sample of a beautiful piped edge pelmet.

We finish by talking through how to hang pelmets.

Break for lunch

Lampshade

This afternoon we will make a drum lampshade complete with trimmings.

We will talk through placement of pattern, weave of fabric and suitable fabrics.

Bespoke drum lampshades enhance and finish your room, complementing your soft furnishing and the finished look of your room.

Prices

£160  per day course (this includes all material for use on the course. Morning coffee and a light lunch).

You can pay for your course in two ways – you can either pay via PayPal at the time of booking or you can book now an pay via BACS 21 days before the course.

Cancellation policy- Course costs will be  refunded up to 2 weeks before the course.   Thereafter fees will be non-refundable, unless the place can be subsequently filled. If a course is cancelled by Blindingly Simple your fees will be refunded.

Accommodation

A selection of B&Bs are available in Alton plus a Travel Lodge a few hundred yards up the road in Four Marks.

Payment to be made in full before course date is secured.
